About
Muyinza is a Ugandan-American luxury brand, founded in 2026 by Roy and Drake Muyinza and defined by a dedication to sustainability, longevity of wear and hard-to-find, unique fabric sourced exclusively from the bustling textile markets of East Africa.
The brand's small-batch collections are sewn together using unlikely materials like vintage bed sheets, 90s curtain fabric or spools of dead stock denim, much of which was donated and shipped abroad decades ago, sitting relatively untouched until now.
Muyinza is committed to the economic empowerment of its garment workers. We pay more than we've been told we should to ensure ethical revenue streams. Aside from working with us, our network of sewists craft boarding school uniforms that must withstand an entire term of rowdy wear — a mark of true craftsmanship you'll be sure to notice.
Muyinza aims to satisfy an increasingly American desire for something real and true.
